The 60 miles of the Canal du Rhone in southern France connects the Rhone River flowing from Beaucaire to the Etang de Thau at Sete and passes through the Camargue Regional Park, which is in a vast delta formed by successive displacements of the river Rhone. The Canal du Rhône at the entrance to the Étang de Thau à Sète connects with the Canal du Midi.
